SCHENECTADY – With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Johnny Lee Brown, who was born on January 31, 1979, and lived in Schenectady. Johnny passed away leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unforgettable memories.
Johnny was a man with a heart as big as his smile, a smile that could light up any room and lift any spirit. He had a deep love for music and never missed a chance to dance. His energy was infectious, and his joy was a gift to all who know him.
Johnny was the kind of person who would give the shirt off his back to someone in need. His compassion and generosity touched many lives.
More than anything, Johnny loved his family and friends. His devotion to them was unwavering, and he was often the glue that held people together. He believed in showing up, in loving loudly, and in spreading kindness wherever he went.
Johnny is survived by his loving mother, Pinaai Couch; his sister, Kenya Rowe; brothers, Jeremy Couch, Jamel Bailey, Justin Bailey, and Brandon Bailey; a his sister, Julia Santana; siblings, Ashly Keith, Leon Keith: step siblings, Mary Lynn Wall, Eilliaz Wal, and Airliinaa Ostrander; nephews, D'yani couch, Na'veah couch, Sky'lah couch, Justice Bailey, Kaceyon Bailey, Zahmier Bailey, Zymerion Bailey, Zysonne Bailey, and Adam Becker; nieces, Zonilay MCclinton, and Sno Frost; cousin, Anthony Wheeler; and a host of other cousins, Uncles, family, and friends.
He was predeceased in death by his father, Johnny Lee Brown.
Services will be held at 1:00 PM, on Monday, October 13, 2025, at the Rossi & Ditoro Funeral Home, 501 Union Street. Interment will follow in Park View Cemetery.
Calling hours will be on Monday from 12 noon until the Service.
