In loving memory of
JOHNNY JIMENEZ
Beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, Son, Brother, Uncle and Nephew
Johnny was born on May 7th, 1952 in Overton, Nevada. He passed away on August 28th, 2025 in Medford, Oregon. He was 73 years old when the Lord called him home.
He graduated from South High School and attended Bakersfield College. He worked in several areas including: maintenance, sanitation, mechanics, and security. Johnny also proudly served in the California Army National Guard. He was strong and worked hard to provide for his family before retiring and moving to Oregon.
Johnny shared the last 11 years of his life with his loving wife Fabiola Jimenez. They shared a strong bond and built a life together in Oregon. They spent their time making special memories full of love, loyalty, laughter and heartfelt joy.
Johnny's children and grandchildren were his pride and joy. He was a proud and loving father to Johnny Jr., Lorenzo, Jose Angel, Julian and Luisa Jimenez; and stepchildren: Eduardo M., Carlos D., and Luis A. Alonzo-Jiménez; and Samantha and Alonzo Adame. He adored his grandchildren: Marci, Kaylani, Gregory, Alexa, Anthony, Jaxx and Jace. He leaves behind a legacy of love, strength and compassion.
Johnny was extremely jovial, always laughing with a big, warm smile on his face. He had a kind, generous heart and was a friend to all. He never turned anyone away that needed help or a place to stay. He welcomed everyone with open arms. He enjoyed hunting for treasures to share with his wife and toy collector son. He loved music and parties, and he especially loved to dance. Johnny was dearly loved by his family and friends.
He was born to loving parents Guadalupe Garcia Jimenez and José Angel Salazar, a.k.a. Santiago Jimenez. Johnny's parents were hard-working, migrant farmworkers. They raised him in a home full of music, tradition, dance, laughter, love and faith where family and friends gathered to celebrate.
He was one of seven siblings and they remained close throughout his life. He is survived by brother Daniel (Beda Jimenez) and sisters: Rosalie (Rafael Romero), Linda (Jim Loven) and Dinah May; ten nieces and nephews, ten great nieces and nephews, three great-grand nieces and nephews; one uncle, Francisco Garcia; and numerous cousins.
Johnny is preceded in death by his daughter Marcelina; parents Guadalupe and José Angel; and brothers Abundio and Pete.
He is rejoicing and dancing with the Lord and loved ones in heaven. His beautiful memory, smile and laughter will live on in our hearts.
