Jon Corrette Obituary
Born in Stuttgart, Germany, while his father was serving in the US Army, he grew up in New Jersey, residing in Somerset, Pemberton, and Toms River before moving to Edison 11 years ago.
Jon was an IT Support Specialist at Rutgers University in New Brunswick. During the months from April to September, he taught at Rider Education of New Jersey in Edison. He loved working on vehicles, camping, fishing, long relaxing motorcycle rides, and spending time with his friends and family.
Surviving is his wife of 24 years, Margaret and their dog Cara; sons Sabian Corrette and his wife Katarina Lin of Edison and Hayden Cottle and his fiancé Jessica of Wrightstown; his father Donald Paul Corrette and his wife Linda O'Connell of Edison, his mother Ingrid Lightle of Maine, Grandmother Roberta Corrette, Aunts and Uncles Robert Corrette of Phoenix AZ, Linda and Robert Karabinchak of Edison, Diana and Anthony Toto of East Brunswick, Erik Lightle of Maine, along with many cousins Steven, Brian, Lori, Kyle, Krystal and Christopher.
The Visitation will be on Monday, May 5, 2025, from 3-7pm with Words of Remembrance at 6:15pm at Costello-Runyon Funeral Home, 568 Middlesex Ave., Metuchen.
