Jonathan A. Jimenez

Jonathan A. Jimenez, born March 12, 1988, passed away unexpectedly June 8, 2025, at Albany Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. Jonathan was born in Los Angeles, California to Jeannette Gonzalez and Juan Manuel Marquez and was later adopted by Miryam Jimenez and Ricardo Jimenez.
He was employed at the Fulton Center for the last 3 years and was previously employed at Great Rentals for 11 years. He graduated from a culinary institute, so of course he loved to cook and feed everyone! He was always the "life of the party" and loved dancing to his salsa. He was all about his family and enjoyed spending time with his children and wife the most. He loved family days at the beach, and BBQs by the pool. He recently enjoyed traveling to Cuba.
He was predeceased by his adopted father Ricardo Jimenez and survived by his wife Nancy Jimenez. Children, Gabriella Jimenez (Madeline), Jonathan Jimenez Jr, Tatianna Jimenez, and Adrian Jimenez (Myra). Brothers, Mark Jimenez (Katie), Cesar Jimenez (Persephony), and Michael Cubria (Michelle). Sisters Angelica Gonzalez, Amanda Jimenez (Mario), and Dayami Jimenez (Rolando). Nieces, Avalina, Dahlia, Lilliana, and Dayana. Nephews, Riley, Christian, Mario Jr., Marciano and plenty more friends and family here and in Cuba.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family. Donations can be made to a go fund me account found on Facebook to assist his family through this difficult time.
