Jonathan Adam Kruger

Jonathan A Kruger, 40, of Battle Creek, passed away at home on October 23, 2023.
He is survived by his parents, Paul and Polly Kruger; brothers, Brian (Erin) Kruger of Battle Creek, Brandon (Mallory) Kruger of Kalamazoo; two nephews, Kyle Kruger and Caleb Kruger and niece, Aria Kruger.
Jonathan attended Battle Creek Public Schools from Kindergarten through 12th grade and walked with his graduating class in 2003. He then attended Doris Klaussen Developmental Center where he learned many valuable job training and life skills. Jonathan graduated from Doris Klaussen in 2009. He was active in Community Inclusive Recreation.
Jonathan loved attending the day program at Alternative Choices on Michigan Avenue in Battle Creek, taking care of and playing with his dog, Jackson (he called him Bear), listening to music, dancing WII games and bowling.
Jonathan touched the heart of people who knew him well with his smiling face and cheerful disposition and was truly loved by all. He had a way of bringing out the best in people and giving them the opportunity to show their best side.
A gathering of friends and family to celebrate the life of Jonathan will be held at the Baxter Funeral and Cremation Service on Thursday, November 2, 2023, visitation from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm with the service to begin at 12:00 pm.
Interment will take place at Floral Lawn Memorial Gardens following the service.
