Jonathan Solomon

Born in Louisiana, Jonathan Keith Solomon departed this earthly life on January 7, 2025, after a brief illness. A proud graduate of Carencro High School. Jonathan went on dedicate 33 years of life to the Coca-Cola Company. He was passionate about his career, taking immense pride in his work and fulfilling his duties with unmatched diligence and commitment.
Jonathan cherished a quiet and peaceful life, marked by humility and devotion to his family. His greatest joy came from spending time with two beloved daughters Jaleesa Dixon and Zoie Chevalier, and his two grandchildren, Jalayah and Jadale Guillory. Known for his golden heart, overflowing with love, Jonathan left an incredible mark on all who knew him.
Outside of work, Jonathan found happiness in his love for cars and motorcycles, which he carefully maintained and enjoyed during his weekends. His dedication to his career remained steadfast. Monday through Friday, but his weekends were reserved for his passions and the simple pleasures of life.
Jonathan held a special bond with his aunts, Priscilla Onezine and Aurella Bernard, and his cousin Pamela Gee, whom he affectionately referred to as "Aunt Pam." These relationships brought him great comfort and joy throughout his life.
Jonathan is survived by his two daughters, Jaleesa Dixon of Lafayette, LA, Zoie Chevalier of Cecilia, LA., his aunts, Priscilla Onezine, Christine (Kenneth) Carmouche, and Aurella (John) Bernard of Lafayette, LA., his uncles, Larry J. (Theresa) of Cankton, LA., Elmo J. (Chris) of Newellton, LA. and Sterling (Joe) Solomon of Lafayette, LA., his two grandchildren, Jalayah and Jadale Guillory, and his special cousins, Tanya C. (Albert) John Louis of Humble, TX., and Pamela (John Jr.) Gee of Lafayette, LA.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence Solomon Jr. and Mary Lou Onezine Solomon, his grandparents, Armond and Aline Onezine, and Clarence Sr., and Alice Solomon, his aunt, Pearl "Tee" Senegal, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Jonathan will be remembered as a kind, humble, and hardworking man whose love and dedication to his family and career left a lasting legacy. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Funeral services for Jonathan Keith Solomon will be held on January 18, 2025. Visitation is scheduled for 8AM at Kinchen Funeral Home; the funeral service begins at 10:00AM at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, and burial will take place in Calvary Cemetery.
