Jonathan Bradford Whitaker

Jonathan Bradford Whitaker, age 53, of Crockett passed away Monday, September 1, 2025. Jonathan was born July 11, 1972 in Lufkin, Texas to mother, Shirley Mae Brown and raised by Eddie Rosenberg. When he was younger, he loved bull riding, cowboying and always "big trucks". Jonathan enjoyed fishing, squirrel hunting, and the Denver Broncos. His love for kids carried into being a faithful Latexo Tiger Fan.
Jonathan is survived by wife, Tina Spainhour Whitaker of Crockett; children, Jennifer Whitaker and husband, Jorge Carrillo of Nacogdoches, Jaidyn Morrison of Crockett; grandchildren, Jaxon, Zoe and one on the way; step-son, Neiko and wife, Savannah; step-grandchildren, Evelyn, Rosie and Arabella; sisters and brothers, Donna Hamilton and husband, Roy of Lufkin, Suprina Tucker of Alto, Nakia Whitaker of Denton, Annette Tucker and Blair Allen of Dallas; step-brothers and step-sister, Rob and wife, Shon, Kendra and husband, Chad, Jesse and wife, Laurie; several nieces and nephews with special nephew, Kin and Tamara Tucker and their children. He was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Mae Brown; adopted father, Eddie Rosenberg; brothers, Tyrone Whitaker and Edward Tucker.
Memorial services for Jonathan Bradford Whitaker will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, September 7, 2025 at the Callaway-Allee Memorial Chapel. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. prior to the service.
