Roman Jordan Elizarde passed from this life March 3, 2025. He was born June 26, 1978 in Harlingen, TX to Ruben and Karla Elizarde. Jordan spent his early childhood years in Harlingen. His father was a coach and his career moved the family to several locations over the years. At the age of 4, they moved to Waco so that his father could coach at Baylor University, and then they moved to Pueblo, CO two years later. The family then moved to Weslaco, where Jordan attended school from first through sixth grade. They then moved to Corpus Christi, TX, where Jordan attended junior high and high school. He graduated from Miller High School in 1997. After high school, Jordan went on to attend college at East Central University for two years. He then enlisted into the United States Army and proudly served his country during the war in Iraq. Upon completion of his service, Jordan went back to East Central University and obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree. He worked at the VA for many years until his passing and enjoyed serving fellow veterans during his time there. Jordan enjoyed golfing, fishing, and hunting. He liked the outdoors in general and enjoyed spending time with family. Above all, Jordan loved his children. They were the light of his life and his ultimate joy. There was nothing he loved more than being a dad. He was preceded in passing by his father, Ruben Elizarde; his maternal grandparents, Rusty and Mosella Kinkead; his paternal grandparents, Concepcion and Joe Elizarde II; and his uncle, Fowler Brown. Jordan is survived by his mother, Karla Elizarde; his daughter, Danica Elizarde; sons, Braden Jordan Elizarde and Brycen Jordan Elizarde; brother, Jesse Elizarde; and aunt, Janet Brown; and cousin, Veronica Kuykendall and her husband Jeff, as well as many other cousins and extended family and friends. Visitation for Jordan is 2:00PM-6:00pm, Friday, March 7, 2025 at Resthaven Funeral Home. His Celebration of Life service is 10:00am, Saturday, March 8, 2025 at the Chapel at Resthaven.
