In Loving Memory of

Jordyce "Jordy" C. Schraith

August 26, 1932 - March 13, 2026

(née Erz) Jordy was married to the love of her life, Otto, for 59 years. She was a loving and devoted mother to Fred (Sharon), Paul (Lee Ann), and Mike (Karri). Cherished grandmother of Valerie (Stephen) Dahl, Natalie (fiancé Taylor Marino), John, Nicole (Kye), Jacob, and Matthew Schraith. Beloved sister-in-law of Elizabeth Erz. Remembered lovingly by cousins, nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

Jordy was preceded in death by her husband, Otto; her parents, Fredrick and Alma (née Neustedter) Erz; her brother, Robert; and her sister, Antoinette (Vernon) Pinkowski.

A lifelong Milwaukee resident, Jordy enjoyed reading, knitting, crocheting, and needlepoint. She also loved crossword and jigsaw puzzles, playing solitaire, and taking boat rides with her family.

Jordy was a faithful member of St. Anthony / St. Vincent Pallotti West Parish for over 60 years, where she generously shared her beautiful voice as a member of the church choir. She also worked for several years at the Pius XI High School bookstore, where she enjoyed connecting with students and staff.

Above all, Jordy was deeply devoted to her family. She took great pride in raising her three sons and treasured her role as a grandmother. Her cooking and baking-especially her pies, peanut squares, and butter horns-will be lovingly remembered as family favorites.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude for the compassionate care Jordy received at Elizabeth Residence in Franklin.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 27, at St. Vincent Pallotti West Catholic Church, 201 N. 76th St., Milwaukee, from 10:00 AM until 11:15 AM, followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 AM.

Inurnment at Holy Cross Cemetery, Milwaukee, to follow.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Vincent Pallotti Parish are appreciated.
