Jorge Armando Rios Robles, age 30, of Flagler, Colorado, passed away Sunday, September 8, 2024, at Kit Carson County Memorial Hospital.
Jorge was born on December 19, 1993, in Chihuahua, Chihuahua, Mexico, to Jesus Valentin Rios Gonzalez and Marcelina Robles Rodriguez. He was an only child.
Jorge was a 2012 graduate of Burlington High School. His favorite class was music. He loved going to the choir room and playing the piano or watching with Mr.Salvador. Jorge also enjoyed playing the cymbals and drums with the other band kids, especially during concerts. His love for music never died; he always listened to music through his headphones whenever he got home. When he wasn't listening to music, he was watching some Disney movie that he could remember every word of and repeat back to you word for word. Jorge also enjoyed visiting the family farm, and he did so any chance he could. While there, he wanted his cousins to take him out on the 4-wheeler or ranger to see all of the animals, which he loved.
Jorge was a member of St. Catherine's Catholic Church in Burlington. He was loved by many; he was always happy and had a smile on his face.
Jorge is survived by his mom Marcelina Robles Rodriguez, Step Dad Steve Nichols, of Flagler; Grandma Maria Cruz Rodriguez Robles, of Burlington; Godparents Rodrigo and Kristie Robles, of Burlington; Uncle Ramiro Robles (Hilda), of Burlington; Aunt Bertha Alicia Robles de Valenzo (Hugo) of Chihuahua Chihuahua Mexico, Cousins Maria Burciaga (Benito), Victoria, Kayla, Brenda, Jasmin, Bryant, Alexander, Jonathan Burciaga, all of Burlington.
