Jose Luis Sanchez

Jose Luis Sanchez, 25, of Asheville, North Carolina, passed away Friday, Oct. 21, 2022, at Mission Hospital.
José was born on February 2, 1997 in Michoacán, Mexico, the son of Cecilia Sánchez and José Luis Sánchez.
He graduated in 2016 from Clyde A. Erwin High School in Asheville and worked in construction. Jose was a Christian and believed in God. He loved helping people and was a loving son and a wonderful friend.
Jose liked to ride a bicycle and ride a motorcycle. He had a great sense of humor and was a joker and fun to be around. Corridos music was José's favorite and he loved listening to it. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. His family says they will always remember him and keep him in their hearts forever.
In addition to his mother, Cecilia Sanchez and stepfather, Antonio Garcia, of Asheville, those left to cherish his memory are his brother, Eric (Kayla) Gutierrez of Black Mountain; two cousins, Jesus (Wendy) Garcia and Dafne Garcia, both of Asheville; and a great-aunt, Dolores Sanchez, of Asheville.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 5, 2022 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Penland Family Funeral Home, 125 South Ave., Swannanoa, NC, 28778, officiated by Deacon John Langlois.
The family will gather with friends one hour before the service at the funeral home from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM.

José Luis Sánchez, de 25 años, de Asheville, Carolina del Norte, falleció el viernes 21 de octubre de 2022 en Mission Hospital.
José nació el 2 de febrero de 1997 en Michoacán, México, hijo de Cecilia Sánchez y José Luis Sánchez.
Se graduó en 2016 de Clyde A. Erwin High School en Asheville y trabajó en la construcción. José era cristiano y creía en Dios. Le encantaba ayudar a la gente y era un hijo amoroso y un amigo maravilloso.
A José le gustaba andar en bicicleta y andar en motocicleta. Tenía un gran sentido del humor y era un bromista y divertido para estar cerca. La música de corridos era la favorita de José y le encantaba escucharla. Será extrañado por todos los que lo conocieron y lo amaron. Su familia dice que siempre lo recordarán y lo mantendrán en sus corazones para siempre.
Además de su madre, Cecilia Sánchez y su padrastro, Antonio García, de Asheville, los que quedan para apreciar su memoria son su hermano, Eric (Kayla) Gutiérrez de Black Mountain; dos primos, Jesús (Wendy) García y Dafne García, ambos de Asheville; y una tía abuela, Dolores Sánchez, de Asheville.
Se llevará a cabo un servicio conmemorativo el sábado 5 de noviembre de 2022 a las 2:00 PM en la capilla de Penland Family Funeral Home, 125 South Ave., Swannanoa, NC, 28778, oficiado por el diácono John Langlois.
