Jose Tomas Segura Juarez, 45, passed away April 11, 2023, in Memphis, TN. A mass will be held on Friday, April 28, 2023 at 5:00 p.m. at Christ the King Catholic Church (785 Church Rd W, Southaven, MS 38671). A visitation will be held Saturday, April 29, 2023, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Coleman Funeral Home of Southaven (626 Star Landing Road East, Southaven, MS, 38672). Father Ardi will be officiating. Coleman Funeral Home of Southaven is in charge of arrangements.
Jose Tomas Segura Juarez born in Rio Verde San Luis Potosi on January 12, 1978. Grew up at a ranch called "Yack" in Veracruz, Mexico. "Tony" as most of his friends and family called him, fell from a house in which he overtook the fall and had another opportunity of life. He grew up at the ranch "Yack," where he soon learned to love cheese and the flour tortillas made by mom and dad. He started working at the age of 9 years old with tractors and cattle. As he grew up to be an adult he became a bricklayer making friendships within his co-workers and enjoying life as he use to like it. He crossed the Rio Bravo to enter The United States of America with his characteristics such as being noble, friendly, helpful and a good heart no matter who it was. Tomas, always performed heavy work, he worked laying tile and stone until his very last day that was Tomas. Each one of us, that's here have a positive and/or negative memory of him. Some of the things that he enjoyed doing was, driving at night, cleaning vehicles, listening to Corridos and drinking a Coors light.
P.D. Although he was a "culito," he was the family's favorite.
Jose Tomas Segura Juarez is survived by his mother, Rosa Maria Juarez Guzman of Veracruz, Mexico; his sisters, Juana Maria Segura Juarez (Benito Lopez) of Veracruz and Rosa Maria Segura Juarez (Gregorio Mar) of Horn Lake, MS; his brother, Bonifacio Segura Juarez of Jackson, MS.; his nephew, Emilano Mar of Horn Lake; Ruben Lopez of Veracruz; his niece, Yulissa Mar (Tadeo Navarro) of Horn Lake; and his great-nephews, Adrian Navarro and Arturo Navarro, both of Horn Lake.
Jose Tomas Segura Juarez was preceded in death by his father, Bonifacio Segura Chavez.

Jose Tomas Segura Juarez nació en Rio Verde San Luis Potosí el 12 de enero de 1978. Creció en un rancho llamado "Yack" en Veracruz, México. Tony, como lo llamaban la mayoría de sus amigos y familiares, superó una caída de un caballo y tuvo otra oportunidad de vida. Creció en el rancho "Yack", donde pronto aprendió a amar el queso y las tortillas de harina que hacían mamá y papá. Comenzó a trabajar a la edad de 9 años con tractores y ganado. A medida que creció y se hizo adulto, se convirtió en albañil, haciendo amistades con sus compañeros de trabajo y disfrutando de la vida como solía gustarle. Cruzó el Río Bravo para ingresar a los Estados Unidos de América con sus características de ser noble, amable, servicial y de buen corazón sin importar quién fuera. Tomás, siempre realizó trabajos pesados, trabajó poniendo teja y piedra hasta su último día Ese era Tomás, cada uno de los que estamos aquí tenemos un recuerdo positivo y/o negativo de él. Algunas de las cosas que disfrutaba hacer eran conducir de noche, limpiar vehículos, escuchar corridos y tomar un coors light. PD Aunque era un "culito", era el favorito de la familia.
A José Tomás Segura Juárez le sobreviven su madre, Rosa María Juárez Guzmán de Veracruz, México; sus hermanas, Juana María Segura Juárez (Benito López) de Veracruz y Rosa María Segura Juárez (Gregorio Mar) de Horn Lake, MS; su hermano, Bonifacio Segura Juárez de Jackson, MS.; su sobrino, Emiliano Mar de Horn Lake; Rubén López de Veracruz; su sobrina, Yulissa Mar (Tadeo Navarro) de Horn Lake; y sus sobrinos nietos, Adrián Navarro y Arturo Navarro, ambos de Horn Lake.
A José Tomás Segura Juárez le precedieron en la muerte su padre, Bonifacio Segura Chávez.
