Jose Luis "Siki" Vazquez Torres

Mr. José Luis Vazquez Torres, 45, of New Britain, CT died tragically, Sunday, July 28, 2024 due to a motorcycle accident in Farmington, CT.
Jose was born September 26, 1978 in Mayaguez, PR a son to Ramon A. Vazquez Vega and Alida Esther Torres Lugo.
"Siki Pollo" as he was known, He was educated in PR school system attending and graduating from Henry W. Longfellow Elementary School, Julio Victor Guzman Middle School and Lola Rodriguez De Tio High Schol.
He worked at various positions and most recently at ESPN where he worked as a maintenance technician. In his spare time he enjoyed riding motorcycles, horseback riding, playing dominoes, rooster fighting and listening to music. His favorite saying was "Hay Luli" and "Uff Dios Que Peste" He also enjoyed watching basketball games and boxing. Jose loved to eat and his favorite foods were Chef Boy ar De, pork fried rice, chicken and broccoli with no broccoli. He was very clean and organized and did not like a mess. "Siki Polo" was a fun loving, friendly flirt. Jose loved to dress and loved to match and was also hard headed who did not like to listen. His happy spirit will be missed by those who knew and loved him.
He leaves two daughters; Yahelys "Noni" Vazquez and Thalia Ortiz, two brothers; Ramon Vazquez, Carlos Vazquez and one sister; Marialy Vazquez Torres, several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
