Joseph Darrell Cannon transitioned peacefully from this life at Ochsner Main Campus on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at the age of 68. Joseph was a native of New Orleans, Louisiana and attended Alcee Fortier High School, later received his GED and went on to work at Southeast Legal Service. He was preceded in death by his devoted parents, Luvinia Cannon, and Willie Granger and his loving sisters, Thelma Granger Blunt, Estelle Henderson, Gale Cannon, and Laura Ann Cannon. Joseph is survived by his two beloved daughters, Christiann Cannon and Sherri Richard, and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Relatives, friends, co-workers, and members of Heart2Heart Family Worship Center are invited to attend the Celebration of Life Service on Friday June 6, 2025, at Heart2Heart Family Worship Center 3631 Washington Ave. New Orleans, LA. 70125.Visitation from 10:00 a.m. with services following at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Miner Rogers officiating.
