Joseph T. Chapman (38) of Palmyra, VA passed away on January 13, 2025.
Joseph was born on December 5, 1986, to Keith Chapman and Mary Griffin. He is survived by his wife Adrianna Chapman (Kisamore), daughter Olivia Chapman, his Mother Mary Griffin (Phil) of Troy, VA, his Father Keith Chapman (Beverly Frazier) of Palmyra, VA; his sister Kendra Martin (Jesse) of Keswick, VA; his In laws Tim & Lisa Kisamore of Seneca Rocks, WV; Brother in law Ian Kisamore (Ashley) of Brightwood, VA; Sister in law Tasia Whilden (Blake) of Staunton, VA; his Nieces (3), Nephews (5), Aunts, Uncles, and numerous cousins.
Joseph is preceded in death by his grandparents Jack and Ann Chapman; Grandmother Violet Elaine Martin; his Uncles David Wright, John Martin, Willy Martin and Kent Chapman.
Joseph was a licensed Massage Therapist, an order filler at Walmart distribution center, and most recently an HVAC technician at Albemarle Heating & Air. He loved spending time with his family, especially his wife and daughter. He most of all enjoyed making memories with his daughter Olivia as she was his pride and joy. He loved to fish (with Grandfather Jack), anything outdoors and just being outside, hiking, spending time by the firepit, and discovering new places.
He was a genuine man that will be deeply missed by those who knew him.
There will be a gathering of family & friends on Saturday, January 25, from 1:00 – 3:00pm at Sheridan Funeral Home, 4626 Cedar Lane Road, Kents Store, Virginia.
This will be a time to celebrate his life and share memories.
In lieu of flowers please send a donation to Lake Monticello volunteer fire and rescue.
