Joseph William Crandall, 48 years of age, passed away on September 1, 2025, in Springfield, MO. He was born on March 15, 1977, in Springfield, MO, to Earl Enoch Crandall and Carolyn (Butts) Zimmerman.

Born on March 15, 1977, in Springfield, Joe spent his life rooted in the community he loved. He built a career as a skilled diesel mechanic, first working for Interstate Brands until its closure. For the past decade, he was a dedicated employee at John Deere Reman, where his work ethic and camaraderie left a lasting impression on colleagues.

Joe's greatest joy came from spending time with his family. He shared nearly 26 years of marriage with his beloved wife, Tina Crandall-their anniversary would have been celebrated on September 11. Together they raised two children: Ashley Crandall and Zackary Crandall, who were the pride of his life.

He also held a special place in his heart for his nephews, Josh Crandall and Hunter Crandall. Joe was preceded in death by his father Earl Crandall, mother Carol Zimmerman, sister Brenda Crandall, and brother Mike Crandall.

Known for his warm personality and generous spirit, Joe was well liked by those who knew him. He had a passion for smoking meat and took great pleasure in feeding friends and family. A fan of classic cars, he often spoke of restoring one someday-a dream that reflected both his love for craftsmanship and nostalgia.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 5, 2025, 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM at Walnut Lawn Funeral Home, Springfield, MO. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2025, 11:00 AM at Walnut Lawn Funeral Home, Springfield, MO. Joseph will be laid to rest at Wesley Cemetery in Willard, MO, immediately following services.
