Joseph Brandon Curry

Joseph B. "Joe" Curry, age 42, of Toledo, passed away on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at his home. He was born August 7, 1983, in Greenville, TX, to Joseph and Rhonda (Maxey) Curry. He was a graduate of Upson Lee High School in Thomaston, GA, class of 2002. Joe installed gutters for at least 15 years as his career. Growing up, he always enjoyed fishing and hunting with his dad. He was fiercely protective of his mom. His pride and joy was his daughter Emily. He loved time spent with his family. Joe was a jokester who always enjoyed making people laugh.

He is survived by his daughter, Emily Curry, of Amanda; sister, Brandi Curry, of Palestine, TX; former companion and Emily's mother, Crystal Majors, of Amanda; grandfather, Roy Maxey, of Palestine, TX. He is preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at Taylor-Theller Funeral Home, 111 W. Main St., Amanda. Cremation will follow the service. The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the service Tuesday at the funeral home.
