Joseph G. Dale

Joseph G. Dale of Rehoboth Beach, DE, age 72, passed away on Thursday, December 5, 2024. He was born in Wilmington, DE on April 2, 1952 to the late Joseph B. and Mary J. (DiCampli) Dale.
Joseph graduated from Salesianum High School, the University of Delaware and completed his law degree at Delaware Law School.
Joseph was a proud attorney who owned his own private practice law firm in Woodbury, NJ. He was an avid guitar player and music lover. He could always be found with his Martin guitar next to him and he thoroughly enjoyed playing music with friends from all over. He performed in plays, ran the Marine Marathon, played softball and was even a yo-yo champion. He was well versed in practical jokes and was known to surprise you with the occasional magic trick. Joseph was also a lifelong dog lover who had a keen interest in real estate and an entrepreneurial spirit. Joseph will be most remembered for his adoring love of his family, especially his beloved daughters around whom his world revolved.
He is survived by his daughters Allison D. Ferrone and her husband Adam of Brooklyn, NY and Kristina M. Sandherr and her husband Jack of Harleysville, PA, grandson William Dale Sandherr, and twin grandsons on the way; brother Dominick Dale and his wife Sylvia of Elkton, MD; sisters Theresa Baldwin and her husband Edward of Wilmington, DE and Marguerite Dickerson and her husband Myles of Wilmington, DE. Joseph is also survived by his daughter's mother Carol Ferraro, many nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
Family and friends are invited to visit St. Maximilian Kolbe Church, 15 E. Pleasant Grove Road, West Chester, PA 19382 on Friday, December 13, 2024 from 10:00AM – 11:00AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00AM. A luncheon will be held immediately following services at The Gables at Chadds Ford, 423 Baltimore Pike, Chadds Ford, PA 19317. His friends are encouraged to bring their guitars/instruments to the luncheon and play in his honor. Entombment at Cathedral Cemetery in Wilmington, DE will be held privately.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Joseph can be made to Providence Animal Center, 555 Sandy Bank Road, Media, PA 19063.
