Joseph Daniels Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Roberts & Sons Funeral Home - Foxborough on Jan. 7, 2026.
On December 30, 2025 at 11:30pm, 79 year old Joseph (Joe) Daniels, originally from Southie, passed away peacefully at his home in Rockland with his loving wife by his side.
He is tearfully survived by his adoring wife, Nancy Wood Korona Daniels; his loving sons Joseph (Joey) Daniels and John (Johnny) Daniels both of Taunton; his loving stepsons David Korona of Attleboro and Brian Korona of Norton; and his loving sister Sandra Daniels of Taunton.
Greeting him on the other side were his mother Catherine Daniels, his sister Arlene and brother Richard, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews and friends.
Joe was born in Boston and lived mainly in South Boston attending the local schools. He and his friends were a very tight knit group until they all went their separate ways Joe enlisted in the U.S. Navy and served his tour during the Vietnam War. Upon his return, he tried many professions until he settled into being a Senior Custodian with the Boston School System upon which he retired in 2010.
Being the strong fighter that he was, he survived many traumatic medical procedures until fate stepped in. His wishes were to be cremated and somewhere in the near future, to have a memorial party held to celebrate his life. This event will be planned and anyone interested in attending, please text 508-314-6791 and leave your information. You will be contacted with the details when the party is planned.
Please mark the date if you are interested, MAY 30,2026.
A memorial celebration of life is scheduled to begin at 1:00 in Rockland..
Food and soft drinks will be available, but as Joe would say, BYOB.
Everyone is invited to come and share stories and remembrances of Joe.
Text 508-314-6791 for direction details.
