Joseph Greenwood Daubert, age 79 of "Sewell" Mantua Twp., NJ passed away on Tuesday, February 11, 2025. Born in Philadelphia, PA to the late Joseph M. Daubert and Helen (nee Greenwood), he graduated from Frankford High School Class of 1963. Joe earned his bachelor's degree from Temple University in 1967 and was a member of the Track & Field team while he attended there. His first job was at PMA Insurance where he met his future wife Elaine Bianchini, they married on September 18th, 1976. Joe worked for several insurance companies and retired from General Reinsurance Corporation based out of Stanford, CT where he was their Vice President. He was an avid golfer, played pickleball, and bowled in his retirement years. Joe also loved yearly vacations in Ocean City, NJ with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Elaine; two sons, Joseph R. Daubert & his wife, Ashley of Williamstown and James R. Daubert & his wife, Jennifer of Mantua; two grandsons, Jack & Jacob Daubert, two sisters, Donna Feeney & her husband, John and Lois Lang; three sisters-in-law, Geraldine Bianchini & her husband, Jim, Ersilia Rizzo, and Kathy Bianchini; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Joe was predeceased by his brothers-in-law, James Lang, Vincent Rizzo, and Arnold Bianchini.
Relatives and Friends may visit from 6 pm to 8 pm on Thursday, February 20th and 9 am to 10:30 am on Friday, February 21st at Smith Funeral Home, 47 Main Street, Mantua, NJ. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 am on Friday at Church of the Incarnation, 240 Main Street, Mantua, NJ, and burial will follow in Eglington Cemetery, 320 Kings Highway, Clarksboro, NJ. As an expression of sympathy, and in honor of his faithful companion, Scooter, contributions can be made to the Animal Welfare Association , 509 Centennial Blvd, Voorhees, NJ 08043.
