Joseph Denman Foster, Jr.

Joseph Denman Foster, Jr., 53, better known as Jay passed away on July 17, 2024. He was born on May 6, 1971, in Vincennes the son of Joseph Denman Foster, Sr. and Barbara J. Ridgley. Jay married Lisa Michelle Frye on September 25, 1999, and she survives.

In Jay's professional life he accomplished many things as he worked for Gemtron for over seventeen years and most recently he had worked for VoMac Truck Sales and Service, Inc. in the shipping department. In Jay's personal life he enjoyed bowling, video games, his corvette, and his dogs. Jay cherished these simple pleasures in life. However, his deepest joy came from his devotion to his wife, Lisa and his unwavering love for his children, grandchildren, and his entire family.

Survivors include his wife, Lisa Foster of Vincennes; his parents, Joseph Denman, Sr. and Barbara J. Foster of Vincennes; his children, Joshua Springfield, Katie Sage, Kristin Wolfe and her husband Alan all of Vincennes; sister, Stacie Phillips and her husband James of Vincennes; and his grandchildren, Matthew Wolfe, Emily Wolfe, Tyler Wolfe, Madilynn Bowers, Boone Bowers, Jaycee Hills and Weston Bowers.

Friends may visit with Jay's family from 11:00 am until the hour of service time of 1:00 pm on Wednesday, July 24, 2024, at Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home, 524 Broadway, Vincennes, IN. Pastor Trevor Murry will officiate. The Foster family has requested memorial contributions be made to Indiana Donor Network, https://indianadonornetwork.org.

Jay's commitment to his family and his warm spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those he touched throughout his years.
