Born in Poughkeepsie, NY on June 20, 1960, he was the son of the late Oscar and Rita Geer. He had resided in Meriden for many years. Joseph loved driving trucks for a living for Freddie's US Mail before he retired.
Besides his loving fiancée of 17 years, Katrina, he is survived by his two sons, Peter N. Geer and his wife Holly and Joseph Geer Jr.; his sister, Rose Baxter and several nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind his beloved cat, Sven.
