Mark Grossman, 78, beloved husband of Donna Grossman, passed away on October 17, 2025 surrounded by his loving family in Plantsville, CT.
Born in Meriden, on March 6, 1947, he was the son of the late Robert J. and Leah D. Grossman. He graduated from Platt High School before signing up for the U.S. Air Force. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War, having served with the U.S. Air Force. Mark loved cruises with his wife, Donna. He also was an avid NY Giants and Yankees fan. Besides his wife of 23 years, Donna, he is survived by his son, Jeremey Grossman and his wife Karen, his granddaughter, Abigail Grossman, who he adored, and his brother David A. Grossman and his wife Evelyn. He is also survived by his cousin, Ines Gerstenblatt. His family will receive friends and relatives on Thursday, October 23rd from 4 to 7 p.m. at the John J. Ferry & Sons Funeral Home, 88 E. Main Street, Meriden, CT 06450. A funeral service will follow at 7 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial with military honors will be held on Friday, October 24th at 9 a.m. in Connecticut State Veteran's Cemetery, 317 Bow Lane, Middletown, CT 06457.
