Joe was talented, quietly thoughtful, and a loud goofball. All his talking of hackers driving Maseratis made me think he was a car guy. When I asked why he chose a mini cooper, he claimed he picked the first car he saw in the lot. His meeting minutes were the best, bar none. He loved his kids and would humble brag about them. My favorite Joe fact was that when people thought the library was haunted, it was actually Joe scurrying around in the ceiling. He was one of my favorite GEPL people and I can't believe he's gone.

My deepest sympathy to Kerry and family. So many memories of working with Joe at the library. Most vividly is Joe's wit when delivering a presentation. Sometimes it took a minute, but his dry humor was so fun. He extended that humor onto writing meeting minutes. I always looked forward to reading them when he wrote them. R.I.P. Joe... thanks for all your help in the 16 years we worked together.
