Joseph Anthony Hominick (Joe), 92, passed away at his home after a short illness on August 14, 2024. He was born October 10, 1931 in Wharton, TX to William and Mary Hominick. Joe served in the United States Army and returned home to work at CPL, manager for Gulley's Mobile Home Park, and part owner of Hominick's Mobile Home Park. He was known to be able to fix anything-a true "jack of all trades"! He is preceded in death by his wife, Leda Kay Hominick, his brothers, Willie, Pete, Sam, John, and his sisters Marie and Rosie.
Joe is survived by his daughter, Diane (Tim) Brown, 2 grandsons, and 6 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his step-daughter, Lynn (Ken) Cook and 5 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be celebrated on Thursday, August 22, 2024 at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery at 10 AM with Father Patrick as the celebrant.
The family would like to thank John (Debbie) Hominick and Ricky (Martha) Hominick for all their help with Joe.
