Joseph Hooks Junior was born on July 29, 1959 in Brooklyn, NY to Joseph T. Hooks, Sr. and Mae Frances Hooks. He left this earthly home on July 21, 2025 following a short illness. Joseph Hooks, Jr. never married but had a host of nieces, nephews, friends and associates
Joseph Hooks, Jr is predeceased by three siblings, Dexter Hooks of Manila, Phillippines; Elaine Hooks of Brooklyn, NY and, Gregory Hooks of Douglasville Georgia.
Junior worked hard at whatever he did, he worked for logistic companies and enjoyed being on the road. His past time was to emulate his childhood meals and also to watch comedies and sports on television.
A public visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 6, 2025 at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, New York 12205 from 11:30am to 12:30pm with a funeral service to begin at 12:30pm.
