Joseph T. Fraker also known as Joe Todd, 78, of Lancaster, passed away on Saturday, February 1, 2025, surrounded by loved ones at the Fairhope Hospice Pickering House. Todd was born on Sunday, June 9, 1946, to the late Joseph B. and Ruth J. (Johnson) Fraker in Cleveland, Ohio.
Todd graduated from Lancaster High School in 1964. He later attended Ohio State University where he completed his doctorate in Pharmacy in 1969. Todd married Linda Ann Petkey on August 10, 1996 who survives. He loved traveling, especially to the Smoky Mountains in Tennessee and the beach at Hilton Head Island in South Carolina. His other hobbies included golfing and camping at Mohican State Park Campground. Above all, he enjoyed gardening and growing tomatoes. Every February he would have his little tomatoes laid out perfectly on the dining room table. Todd retired from Post’s Traveland USA in Columbus.
Todd is survived by his loving wife, Linda Fraker; son, Nathan H. (Cassie) Fraker; grandchildren, Alexander J. (Hannah) Fraker, Nathanael T. (Rachel) Fraker, William C. Fraker, and Alexandra J. Heyne; siblings, Sara (Larry) Hedges and Ginny (Charles) Brown; brother-in-law, John Petkey; special friends, Skip Brown and Joe Cordle as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph B. Fraker, and mother, Ruth J. Fraker.
Friends and family may visit from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm on Tuesday, February 11, 2025 at the Frank E. Smith Funeral Home Chapel and an hour before the service on Wednesday. A memorial service will be Wednesday, February 12, 2025 at 11:30 AM at Calvary Baptist Church, 1910 Marietta Road, Lancaster, OH.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Calvary Baptist Church, 1910 Marietta Road, Lancaster, Ohio.
