Joseph "Joey" John Carnot, 35, was born on October 26, 1988, in Appleton, WI. Joey's light shone brightly until his passing on July 18, 2024.
Joey served in the National Guard after attending Kaukauna High School. He was a dedicated employee for Carew Concrete Supply Company, proudly working as a dump truck operator. His faith was a cornerstone of his life, bringing him much comfort and strength throughout life's challenges. His beaming smile, vibrant personality, energetic spirit and charisma always lit up the room wherever he went.
Joey loved the Green Bay Packers, Milwaukee Brewers and the Golden State Warriors. He enjoyed watching a good movie, boating or bonding over a home-cooked meal. Above all else, Joey's proudest accomplishments were centered around his role as a father. He cherished spending time with his son Kasen, whether it was going on bike rides or playing with their off-road RC car; Joey's love for his son knew no bounds. Joey leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish his memory.
Joey is survived by Kasen Carnot; Cheryl (Mark Kercher) Swanningson; Kyle (Courtney Roberts) VandenBloomer, Levi Carnot; Kayla VandenBloomer; Elijah (Tracy Vander Bloomen) Perez; Mary Carnot; Dave (Lisa) Carnot; Michael Carnot; Brittney Hietpas; Dale VandenBloomer; along with many cousins, relatives, and dear friends. Joey is preceded in death by John Carnot, Daniel Carnot and Laurie Carnot.
A visitation to honor Joseph’s life will take place on August 16, 2024 from 2:00pm until the time of Funeral Service at 4:30pm at Wichmann Funeral Home, 537 N. Superior St. in Appleton. Pastor Jason Steger from Village Community Church will officiate the service, with military honors to follow.
Joey’s family would like to thank the Appleton Police Department and first responders, Pastor Jason Steger, neighbors, family and friends for their support during this difficult time.
