Joseph Leblang, age 79 of Hambden Twp., passed away April 24th, 2025 at home surrounded by his family. He was born January 6th, 1946 in Cleveland, OH to the late Joseph and Mary Leblang.
Joe was an Army Vietnam Veteran. He worked as an Industrial HVAC Technician and retired in 2011 after 40 years of service.
Joe was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He enjoyed splitting firewood with his neighbors as well as relaxing in his man cave with a cold beer, a fire going and a "how to" show playing on the t.v. He loved bonfires with his grandchildren, motorcycles, having the cleanest car on the road and large helpings of ice cream. Most of all, Joe truly loved spending time with family and friends. He will be greatly missed.
Joe was the loving husband of 55 years to Susan Leblang (nee Guella); beloved father of Michael (Alisha) Leblang and Marsha (Ciro) Grandini; dearest grandpa of T.J. and Ava Leblang, Maia, Frank and Marley Grandini; brother of Shirley (William-deceased) Provident and the late Robert (Margaret) Leblang; uncle to many nieces and nephews.
The Leblang family will receive family and friends from 10:00 – 11:00 AM Thursday, May 1st, 2025 at Divine Word Catholic Church, 8100 Eagle Rd., Kirtland. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday at the church. Entombment will follow at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Twp.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Joe's name to the VFW https://heroes.vfw.org/page/23487/donate/1?locale=en-US
