He was born on July 15, 1958 in Columbus, IN, a son of the late Lynn and Nila (Brown) Lowery.
Joe has left behind his wife, Marlene Ailes Lowery of 44 years. His three children, Joe Lowery II (wife: Kristy) of Tennessee, Christa Covert (husband: Nathan) of Daleville, IN and Rachel Mahurin (husband: Jason) of Westport, IN; five grandchildren, Hayden Lowery, Olivia Covert, Abigail Covert, Grayson Mahurin and Ava Lowery.
Joe worked at Gecom Corp of Greensburg for 34 years and was loved by many people there. He will also be missed by his three siblings, Kathy Lowery, Vickie Miller, Bob Lowery as well as all of those who knew him. Joe loved the Lord with all his heart and praised His name until he could no longer.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 pm, Saturday, May 25, 2024 at the Clarksburg Covenant Church, 6696 N. County Road 700 E. Clarksburg, IN 47225, with Pastor Dan Smith officiating.
Friends may visit from 10 – 12 pm prior to the service at the church.
