Joe was a graduate of Poughkeepsie High School. He worked for over 30 years for New York State, at the Office for People With Developmental Disabilities; he was a developmental aide at the Taconic DDSO in Wassaic, NY until he retired.
Unfortunately after his parents predeceased him, Joe was left with no family only a longtime friendship with the Agfalvi Family, who helped care for him in his later years. A friendship truly grateful for, and he will be missed dearly.
A Private Interment will be held at the LaGrange Rural Cemetery, Overlook Road, Poughkeepsie, New York. To offer a kind word or share a fond memory of Joe, please visit: www.DelehantyFuneral.com
