Joseph E. Meese, age 59, passed away peacefully on January 16, 2025. He was born on February 21, 1965, in Cincinnati, OH, to the late Eugene and Shirley (nee Clatty) Meese. Joe was a loving father to A.J. Meese and Holly Meese and a devoted former husband to Karen Meese, with whom he shared 31 years of marriage. He was a cherished brother to Diane (Dan) Singhoff, Kathleen (Dwaine) Ashmore-Polio, Sharon (Gary) Herman, and Laura (Scott) Durkin.
Joe graduated from Northwest High School, where he was active in baseball and basketball. Following graduation, he pursued a career as an exceptionally talented Automotive Parts Director, dedicating 36 years to his profession.
Joe was a devoted father, a loving brother, and a loyal friend. Known for his (insert sarcasm) "amazing" singing voice, Joe was happiest on a baseball field playing shortstop, relaxing on the beach at Gulf Shores, Alabama, with his family, following in his father's footsteps betting on horses at Keeneland, fishing with his brother-in-law and daughter, golfing with his son and friends, joking with his sisters, attending concerts with Karen, singing karaoke with his nieces, and cheering on the Bengals with his mom on Sundays. Joe was, and will always be, deeply loved by many.
A visitation will be held at Neidhard Young Funeral Home on Thursday, January 23, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday, January 24, at 9:30 AM at Corpus Christi Church. A graveside service will follow at Crown Hill Memorial Park.
