I don't know what to say. I'm in complete shock and I'm so hurt that I wasn't there to say goodbye and I hope you can forgive me for that. You have always been there for me, my family and I'm honored that you got to meet my children. I will never forget all the things you've taught me and how every weekend you, Aunt Ann, Heather and I would go to church ever Saturday. I still have all the memories of how you taught me about space or if I had a question about my homework I would call you and you would help me. Most important I couldn't have been given better Godparents, You and Aunt Ann I was always so grateful for that. You are never going to be forgotten. You will continue to live on thru your Wife, your children and your grandkids. I love you Uncle Joe and I will for the rest of my life.

So very sorry to hear of the loss. He was my neighbor and I always sold Sarris candy to him and played with the dog and loved to talk to his daughter heather! My father and mother Jospeh Polovich and Elizabeth polovich lived on wood street in Braddock pa with him and if someone could please email me at [email protected]
to let me know what happened with him it'd be greatly appreciated. My parents really liked him and we're good friends and just found out he has passed. They are wondering what happened and they both send their prayers!!

Big Joe was always good to us when we were kids. He always had a joke to tell. My thoughts and prayers are with the Michlovics.

Joe, you have studied the stars and heavens for so long and was very good at it. Now you are a part of the heavens above, you are no stranger to the sky. Every planet, Star, constellation, is very lucky to have you nearer to them now. We down here can look up think of you and have an empty spot because you are not here. Everyone loves you Joe. Rest my friend you will always shine on brighter than any star in the sky !!!

Tom -
Please accept my condolences on the loss of your brother Joe. I can recall during our time in Harrisburg, your telling me that your brother worked at NASA. And we joked with each other about how both our brothers were a lot smarter than we are.

I worked with Joe for years at Perry Traditional Academy. He was one of the nicest teachers at Perry. I loved his intelligence and corny jokes he would tell. He never spoke unkindly about anyone and he worked hard and was a very dedicated
teachers. A very brilliant man. My deepest
sympathy to his family.

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."
It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.
God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.
When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.
I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.
There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.
If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.
So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.
And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

We are so sorry to hear about Joe's passing. He was such a nice guy and we have good memories of him at the Slavonic Social Club in Braddock. We will not be able to attend the viewing, but know that your family is in our prayers.
