Joseph "Joey" Mikolajczyk, 53, of Chattanooga, TN, passed away on May 22, 2025.
Jospeh was born on November 16, 1971, in Asheville, NC. He graduated from Owen High School in Asheville, NC. Joey served and gave his life to his country in the U.S. Navy and worked in the nuclear field. He was a member of Swannanoa Baptist Church in Swannanoa, NC. Joey loved being together with his family and will be dearly missed.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Leah Mikolajczyk.
Joseph is survived by his father, Albert "Al" Mikolajczyk; his siblings, Mike Mikolajczyk, Suzie (Frank) Kinsey, and Sammy (Rene) Mikolajczyk; several nieces and nephews, Jeremy Mikolajczyk, J.R. (Abbie) Kinsey, Justice Kinsey, and Megan Kinsey; great-nieces and great-nephews, Adaline Kinsey, Silas Kinsey, Landon Mikolajczyk.
A private graveside service will be held with Missionary Frank Kinsey will be officiating. The U.S. Navy and American Legion Post #95 will perform military honors.
Condolences may be shared at www.lanesouthcrestchapel.com. All flowers are to be sent to the funeral home.
