Joe worked for T&T Sales Inc., where he met the mother of his daughter and long time friend Connie Styno. He was an excellent mechanic and talented man. There wasn't anything he couldn't fix.
In his younger years, he was an avid stock car racer at Albany Saratoga Speedway and Lebanon Valley. When he stopped racing, he still enjoyed going to watch the races. Joe also enjoyed hunting and visiting with family and friends at family gatherings. His greatest joy was his grandson Maurice, and he treasured the time they spent together.
Joe is survived by his daughter Gema Ody, grandson Maurice Reedy, sister Debra Hatlee, brother Edward Ody (Michelle), nieces Vicki Bush and Quinn Ody, nephews Stephen Hatlee (Tabatha) and Eric Hatlee, dear friend Connie Styno, and many great nieces, nephews, and cousins. Joe was predeceased by his parents and aunt Mary who he was very close with.
Joe always said "I never had a bad day, just some better than others."
Relatives and friends are invited to a calling hour from 10am to 11am on Thursday, July 17 at Armer Funeral Home, Inc. A service will be held at 11am. Burial will follow in Ballston Spa Cemetery.

Joe, we have been life long friends. Sharing many memories together from stock car racing to helping Dad and I with our equipment. It was a honor to your best man. When you and Connie married. R.I.P. Joe.
