Joseph Omar Ruiz Jr, 30, of Las Cruces, New Mexico, passed away on June 3, 2025, in Las Cruces. Joseph was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico, to Candida Ramirez and the late Omar Ruiz Fernandez. He grew up in Las Cruces, where he attended Organ Mountain High School. Joseph was a hardworking man who worked as a painter. He was incredibly creative, always finding ways to turn everyday work into something meaningful. He was married to Patricia Casares for 12 years, and together they built a beautiful life. He was a loving and dedicated father to his children: Harmony Ruiz, Hazel Ruiz, Santiago Ruiz, and Hayley Ruiz. Joseph was known for his kind heart, strong voice, and outgoing personality. He loved spending time with his family, dancing, making people laugh, and creating unforgettable memories. His energy, humor, and ability to light up a room will never be forgotten. He was adaptable, courageous, adventurous, and a powerful communicator. His words always carried love and meaning. He is survived by his mother Candida Ramirez; his siblings Brianna Ruiz, Anthony Ruiz, and Juan Ruiz; his wife Patricia Casares; and his children Harmony, Hazel, Santiago, and Hayley. He was deeply loved by all his family, and he loved each of them dearly. Joseph was preceded in death by his father, Omar Ruiz Fernandez. Services will be private. "I will always love you and cherish the time we had together. Thank you for the love, laughter, and joy you brought into my life. You will forever be in my heart." Joseph Omar Ruiz Jr. - you made every day an adventure. Thank you for being an amazing soul. Your love and light will live on in all of us.
