Joseph Lee Scott

Joseph Lee Scott, devoted husband of Yvonne Lynn McClure Scott for 46 ½ years, left his earthly home on Friday, May 19, 2023. He was born on November 26, 1955 in Jessamine County to the late William and Ethel Moberly Scott. Joseph was a skilled mechanic who had worked at Toyota on Nicholasville. He was a hard worker, and in his spare time, he enjoyed hunting deer, turkey, and wild boar. He was also affectionately known as a home-body, and he and Yvonne had built their cabin together. Besides his wife, he will be warmly remembered by his son B.J. Scott, wife Christie, his two grandchildren Shelby and Cheyenne, and great-grandson Jenson Masters, his numerous brothers, sisters and nieces and nephew, including his many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. Joseph's family will plan services at a later date. "I'd like the memory of me to be a happy one. I'd like to leave an afterglow of smiles when life is done."
