Joseph D. Siddle, age 93, of Reynoldsburg, Ohio, passed away on January 7, 2025. Joe was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and uncle. U.S. Army Veteran. Graduate of Columbus South High School, Class of 1949. Member and past Deacon at Emmanuel Lutheran Church. Joe was a cook, office supply salesman, and mail carrier, retiring from the Pataskala Post Office. He was a Heisey glassware and antique dealer for over 30 years. He was an excellent ballroom dancer and loved big bands. Joe loved the beaches of Florida. 

Joe is preceded in death by his wife, Marlene, Siddle and their son, Jeffrey Siddle; parents, James and Lela Siddle; siblings, Maxine (Al) Merkle, Beatrice (George) Franz, Jim Siddle, and Jack (Phyllis); daughter-in-law, Lisa Siddle.Joe leaves behind daughter, Carla (John) Dolan, and son, Mark Joseph Siddle; granddaughters, Noelle (Shawn) Tolbert, Colette, Mara, and Rachel Siddle; grandson, Tyler Wald; great-granddaughters, Caitlin and Morgan Tolbert; sister-in-law, Eileen Siddle; many nieces, nephews, and other relatives. The family would like to thank Mt. Carmel Hospice for all their care and help to keep Joe comfortable at his own home. A special thank you to his caretakers Betty, and to Joe’s son-in-law, John Dolan, who became a major caregiver and best friend to Joe. 

Graveside service officiated by Pastor Floyd L. Stolzenburg, on Thursday, January 16, 2025, at 12 noon at Green Lawn Cemetery, 1000 Greenlawn Ave., Columbus, Ohio 43223. (if you are attending graveside service, please park inside gates along the road across from the cemetery office and you can follow hearse when it arrives at 12 noon to the grave).
