Joseph M. Siracuse Jr.
Passed away suddenly on June 13, 2024. Joseph is predeceased by his parents, Angela & Joseph Siracuse. He is survived by his siblings, Sandra (Mark) Voelkl & Peter (Denise) Siracuse; nieces, Ella & Maya Voelkl, Riley & Peyton Siracuse; and his beloved cat Bebos.
Joseph's Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Wednesday, July 10th at Parish of the Holy Family, 4100 Lyell Road. Entombment in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Rochester, NY.
Memorial donations can be made in Joseph's name to the American Diabetes Association, PO Box 7023, Merrifield VA 22116-7023.
Joe grew up in the 10th Ward and graduated from Aquinas Institute where he was part of the color guard. Joe had many interests. He loved traveling and learning about the food and culture of the different countries he visited. He loved theater and was a member of GEVA. He enjoyed cooking, playing euchre, playing in gin tournaments with the family and playing the game Risk.
Joe was a valuable long-time member of the Rochester Crusaders and a major show manager for DCA. He also was a long-term employee of Rochester Patriots Bingo Hall. He was, until his death, working at Benefit Reps of America where he was a critical asset to the company as office manager.
He had a love of all things "Star Wars" and had a large collection before he sold it. He was a financial guru with managing stocks and helped friends and family to manage their funds. Most of all, he was devoted to his family, spending time with us and enjoying Sunday dinners. He was the leader of our family!
"The impact a person has on this world is seen clearest in the effect it has on people when they leave it!"
Joe, no matter where go, you will always be in our hearts and there will always be a seat at the table for you!
