It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Joseph Francis Zeis, who left us on June 3, 2025, at his residence in Levittown, PA. Born on November 3, 1957, in Trenton, NJ,, he was a life-long resident of Bucks County, Morrisville, Fairless Hills and Levittown. Joseph was a cherished son of the late Joseph Zeis and Marie Blechl Zeis and a beloved brother, cousin, and friend to many.
Joseph was a proud graduate of Morrisville High School, class of 1976, and later pursued his passion for art at Bucks County Community College. In the early 1980s, he transformed his artistic talents into a thriving career as the owner and operator of Zeis Sign Company in Morrisville, PA. His creativity shone through in everything he did, and he was particularly renowned for his masterful air-brushing skills.
A true lover of music, Joseph found much joy in playing the guitar and had a special fondness for rock and roll. He also cherished moments spent at the movies, where he delighted in the stories they shared. His warm spirit, great sense of humor, and kindness were traits that defined him, leaving a lasting impression on all who were fortunate enough to know him.
Joseph will be deeply missed by his surviving family members, including his brother, Rev. Gabriel (Robert) Zeis, T.O.R., as well as cousins Kathy Novak, Tom Zeis, Gary Zeis, Elaine Feldenzer, and her family, Linda and Carole. Each of them will treasure the memories they share of joyful laughter and uplifting moments spent with him.
In honoring Joseph’s life, we invite family and friends to gather for visitation on June 12, 2025, starting at 9:30 AM, followed by a Mass at 10:00 AM at the Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church 201 N. Pennsylvania Ave. in Morrisville, PA.
His interment in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery in Trenton will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
While our hearts are heavy with grief and loss, we celebrate the creative spirit and loving nature that Joseph brought into the world, which will continue to inspire all of us who were lucky enough to call him family and friend.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you consider making a memorial contribution, in Joseph's name, to St. Jude’s Children's Research Hospital, www.stjude.org.
