Josephine J. Edward of Neosho, Missouri, passed away on August 3, 2025, in Joplin, Missouri, at the age of 48.

Born on December 10, 1976, in Pohnpei, Micronesia, Josephine was the beloved daughter of the late John Edward and Pelisiana Kustin. She grew up with strong family values and a vibrant spirit that remained with her throughout her life.

Josephine graduated from high school and went on to attend college. She later married Etkar Dolon, with whom she built a loving home and family. Josephine was a dedicated employee at Factory Connection in Neosho, where she was known for her kindness and hard work.

She had a joyful and spirited personality and found happiness in the simple pleasures of life. Josephine loved going to the casino, playing softball and volleyball, and, most of all, spending time with her family. Her deep love for her children, nieces, and nephews was evident in everything she did.

Josephine is survived by her devoted husband, her beloved children; Justleen, Jerry, Salisha Mae, Shalane Iris, Jewel Wisa Lelekihda and Joeddy and her cherished siblings; Johnson Edward, Juliana Edward, Junida Edward, Johnston Edward, Justina Edward, Joyce Edward, and her best friend Kim Youngstrom. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Julinda Edward.

A funeral service will be Saturday, August 23, 2025 at 9:00am, held at Clark Funeral Home – Chapel of Memories. Burial will follow at Neosho Memorial Park Cemetery.

Josephine will be remembered for her warmth, her laughter, and the love she shared so freely with everyone around her. Her presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
