Josephine Ipock Obituary
Josephine (Jo) Ipock passed away peacefully on March 23, 2025 at the age of 94.
She was born on February 8, 1931 in Grayville, Illinois to Harry and Bessie Daugherty, the third of five daughters. She married John Ipock, September 3, 1955 and they relocated to Farmington NM in 1962.
Jo spent many years as a secretary for W.M. Gallaway Oil and Gas and worked a few years in Real Estate.
After John died in 1996, Jo retired and enjoyed volunteering with SJRMC Auxiliary. She also enjoyed traveling, bowling, golfing and playing cards with friends.
She was a member of First Baptist Church, Farmington.
Jo was preceded in death by her husband and her four sisters.
Surviving her are her two children; son Wesley Ipock of Farmington, daughter Karla (Jim) Tschetter of Farmington, two grandchildren; Jared Tschetter of Las Cruces and Kevin (Autumn) Tschetter of Farmington; as well as two great grandchildren; Edmund and Elizabeth and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Alana and the staff at NAMASTE for their care and assistance with Jo in her final days.
Cremation has taken place. No services are being planned.
