Josephine Mason Obituary
Mrs. Mason was a member of Fairfield Baptist Church for over 51 years and had worked side by side with her husband at Trinity Frame Shop for ever 20 years. She loved to fish and make quilts. She grew flowers and cooked for her family, famous for her sourdough bread. She loved babies and eating out. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Ray on September 21, 2017, after 55 years of marriage and a daughter Sandra Sienerth in 2020 and son James Mason in 2023.
Mrs. Mason is survived by three children, Roger Mason of Archdale, Timothy Mason and wife Sherri of Archdale and Melissa Miles and husband Greg of High Point. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and a sister Dora Lee Wishon of Jamestown.
Funeral services for Mrs. Mason will be held at 5 pm on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, in the chapel of Cumby Family Funeral Service with the Reverend Larry Spaulding officiating. The family will greet friends following the service. Graveside services will be held at 1 pm Thursday, September 25, 2025, at Union Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Topton, NC following a brief viewing in the church.
