Joshua William Hoffer, 33, of Youngstown, FL died tragically Friday, January 31, 2025 as a result of an automobile accident in Sandusky County, OH. He was born on October 17, 1991 in Sandusky, OH to Merle Eugene "Gene" Trumbull and Robin (Schoewe) Hoffer. Josh graduated from Margaretta High School in 2010. He worked as an HVAC installer for Stylecrest and Bond's Electrical & Heating in Tallahassee, FL. Josh was also affectionately known as "Bub". He was a big Ohio State Buckeyes, Green Bay Packers, and NASCAR fan, and his favorite driver was Kyle Larson. Josh enjoyed camping, spending time with his family, and swiping his dad's chip dip late nights on those camping trips! He regularly checked in on his family. Josh always had a smile on his face and his family will miss him dearly, and his ability to be able to put a smile on their faces when they were having a bad day.
Josh is survived by his father, Gene (Amy Slocum) Trumbull, siblings, Lee Hoffer, Ashley (Michael) Barker, and Shelly Saddle, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and special friend, Lacy Nicole Fettig. He was preceded in death by his mother and sister, Amanda Shana Trumbull.
Visitation for Josh will be Friday, February 7, 2025 from 12-3 & 4-7 p.m. at the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, 165 E. Water St., Oak Harbor, OH. Memorial contributions in memory of Josh can be given to a charity of the donor's choice. Online condolences may be shared with the family at www.walkerfuneralhomes.com.
