Joshua "Josh" Presley, aged 42, of Hot Springs, passed away on Saturday, July 16, 2022. He was born February 5, 1980, in Birmingham, Alabama, the son of Gene Milton Presley and Brenda Lewis Presley. Josh was a Christian in his faith and a member of The Ark of Praise. He proudly served his country and was a United States Army Veteran. Josh was an avid fisherman, hunter and Alabama football fan. He worked as a roofer and was very passionate about his work. Josh was an excellent family man and loved the Lord with all his heart. He was a man who had a heart for the homeless and would help any way he could. He will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him.
He is survived by his loving wife of 4 years, Shelly Presley; his children, Paisley Jo Presley, Joshua Ashley Presley, Hunter Michael Edgmon, and Levi Edgmon; his parents Gene and Brenda Presley of Foley, Alabama; his brother Jason Presley of Foley, Alabama; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Terry and Linda Fryhover; extended family and a host of many good friends. Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM, Thursday, July 21, 2022, in The Ark of Praise church. Interment will be 1:00 PM, Monday, July 18, 2022, in the Arkansas State Veteran's Cemetery. Visitation will be 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM, Thursday, prior to the service. Arrangements are under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Home, Hot Springs.
