Joy Kay (Gamble) Collins, 77, of Dallas, Texas, passed away September 9, 2025. She was born on August 9, 1948 in El Paso, Texas to J.C. and Joan Gamble.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Danny Collins; brothers, Jimmy, Joe, and Jack Gamble; sister, Janet Dorsey; daughters, Candy White and Jamie Collins; granddaughter, Angel McKnight, and great-granddaughter, Katie Davault.
Joy leaves behind to cherish her memories, brother, Jerry Gamble; sons, Larry and Joe Davault; daughters, Danna Williams and Joy Dianna Collins; grandchildren, Ashley, Janelle, Kim, John, Nikki, James, Chuck, Samantha, Alyssa, Tyrell, Joseph, and Chris; great-grandchildren, Dakota, Luke, Merrick, Amelia, Amari, Mya, and David; cousin, Sharon Rhodes; sons-in-law, Ron White and Demetrick Williams, along with numerous distant relatives and friends.
Joy worked at Tom Thumb for over 30 years. She worked at the State Fair of Texas for over 20 years. She was simply a hard worker.
Joy enjoyed going to casinos and playing bingo. She loved Elvis. Joy loved her family and would do anything for them. She was always the light of the party and always dressed for the occasion.
Joy will be greatly missed. She was loved by everyone who met her.
