Joy Warren, 93, of Wichita Falls, Texas, passed away on January 27, 2026.

Graveside Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, February 3rd at Crestview Memorial Park with Pastor Larry Shields officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home.

A daughter of late Gaitha (Myers) and Alvin Scoggin, Joy was born on September 26, 1932, in Platter, Oklahoma.

Joy enjoyed gardening, shopping, sewing and camping. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed hosting family gatherings. She was a faithful member at Faith Baptist until her health kept her from attending. She sang in the Senior Choir and was involved in many church activities. She especially enjoyed her ladies bible class. She was married 59 years before her husband passed away. She took special pride in being a grandmother and great grandmother.

Joy was preceded in death by her parents, stepdad Archie Carlson Sr., husband Marvin Warren. A son Elmer Warren. Sisters: Rella Walters, Sylvia Lewis and brother Archie Carlson Jr.

She is survived by her daughter Vicki McHenry, her son Michael Warren and wife Shirley, daughter Michelle McBride and husband Mark. Grandsons James Clayton Stone, Riker Warren, Kody Mcbride and Kory McBride. Great grandchildren Garrett Stone, Jessica Stone, Cooper McBride, Corbin McBride and Eli McBride; and brother, Joe Scoggin.

I'm so very sorry for your loss. I will always remember the special friendship she had with my mother Jimmie Brown. She was a Christian example of a kind and loving lady.
