Joyce Lankey Obituary

Born July 23, 1951 in Mt. Pleasant, she was a daughter of the late Joseph E. and Helen F. (Overly) Roadman.
Joyce enjoyed crochet, knitting and plastic canvas projects. She loved playing bingo, board games, and spending time with her grandchildren. Joyce was an excellent cook and was always interested in learning new things and generously donated to various organizations.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Dale Lankey; a grandson, Shawn Michael Lankey; and two brothers, Johnny and Joseph Roadman.
Joyce is survived by two sons, Devin M. Lankey of New Alexandria and Brian J. Lankey, and his wife Carol, of Stahlstown; one brother, Gerald Roadman, and his wife Linda, of Ligonier; two sisters, Gloria Shawley, and her husband Evan, of Mt. Pleasant, and Janet Hines Roadman of Latrobe; nine grandchildren; and a sister-in-law, Cheryl Carden, and her husband Larry.
At Joyce's request, there will be no public visitations or services. Interment is private. Arrangements are being handled by the Lopatich-Brinker Funeral Home, LLC, 601 Weldon Street, Latrobe.
