Joyce Mlynek of Anoka, MN went to our Lord surrounded by her family at the age of 91.
Joyce was an amazing, loving, spunky and caring person and described by a friend "Joyce was a definition of joy and love." She will be deeply missed by all who knew her, and her family will forever be grateful for her love and dedication.
Survived by her daughters Brenda Gifford, Pam Mlynek and Sandy Schmidt (D.J.). Four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Brother Donald (Verna) Sonsalla and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Preceded in death by her loving husband of 54 years, Rudy Mlynek and parents, Robert (Bob) and Viola (Vie) Sonsalla.

On Friday, December 06, 2024, visitation will begin at 10:00 AM, with the Celebration of Life beginning at 11:00 AM at the First Memorial Funeral Chapel, 4343 Nicollet Avenue, Minneapolis, MN 55409. There will be a reception following the service.
Interment will be at Fort Snelling in the Spring of 2025.
