Joyce Wiggins Obituary
Joyce Ann Freeman Wiggins, 78, passed away on June 27, 2025, at Novant Health Brunswick Medical Center. She was born on May 17, 1947, to the late William Daniel Freeman and Hycianth Haley Whitesides Wiggins.
She is preceded in death by her parents, and brothers, Bill, Carl, Roy, Jerry, Laird, and John Freeman.
Joyce was a member at Plainview Baptist Church in Dallas, North Carolina. She loved gathering seashells and going to yard sales. She had a sweet spirit, and she loved everyone. Joyce was like no other and she was one of the best around. She will be greatly missed.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 61 years, Ronnie Arthur Wiggins; son, Billy Wiggins (Elaine); sisters, Carolyn Pleasant (Raymond), Brenda Free; grandchildren, Jacob Wiggins (Gillian) and Jessie Byrd (Robert); great grandchildren, Barrett Byrd, and Juniper Wiggins; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Joyce’s graveside service will be at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, at Westview Gardens, Bessemer City, North Carolina.
